Episode 22
A STORY WRITTEN BY BRIGHT DANIEL
The hunter who held Grace up on a
7storey building had the same power as Hector. He
is the strongest of them all looking more scary then others. Policemen could be seen
shooting and Killing hunters. A hunter moved boldly towards a police vehicle
withstanding all the bullets fired to him.
When the policemen saw that, they ran away then the hunter turned their vehicle
upside down thereby causing an explosion.
At Hector’s own eyes, the hunter on the building sped down and returned back to
the building again with another girl, a citizen.
“Demn it!” Hector exclaimed. “They must have manipulated my stone to get the
power!” he added.
“Surprise, surprise, surprise” the hunter began with the two girls in both hands
ready to throw them off the building.
“Hector, i know you know where the book is. Choose one, either you bring the book to
me now or you save two girls at a time. I know you wouldn’t want your girlfriend to
die” “You don’t know what am capable of, you ugly dick!” Hector replied boldly.
“Oh, really? Now catch them” the hunter wanted to throw them down but Hector
interrupted him saying, “Woh, woh, woh, easy mehn! Can’t someone joke with you? I
was only joking, handsome dick”
The hunter became angry. “You take me for a fool!” he said then released his hands
from those girls. They screamed falling from the building. At the same time the hunter
pursued Hector who sped off like never before. Only a lightening of his body was
seen as he dogged the hunter running up on the walls of the building to catch Grace.
The hunter turned and pursued him again.
When Hector caught Grace, he tried to speed off again to save the other girl but the
hunter got him and sped down with both him and Grace, yet, the girl was still falling.
On the ground, Hector had no choice but to kick off the hunter leaving Grace with him to
save the innocent girl, so he sped off again.
The girl nearly touch the ground when Hector saved her. He took her to a safe place
and returned immediately looking at the hunter who was still with Grace.
“Is racing time” the hunter said and sped off with Grace. Hector pursued him, and the
race began..

Lawson meet a hunter breaking into his house while Ruth screamed continuously
holding a knife. Her pregnancy couldn’t allow her run. One could see the knife
vibrating in her hands. She wore a white gown which brought out the shape of the
pregnancy facing the door. When the hunter finally broke in moving towards her angrily,
she close her eyes saying, “God please, save my baby, save my baby, save my baby” At
that point, Lawson came in and began to shoot the hunter who turned immediately
without dying until his bullet go exhausted.
“Lawson..” the hunger called moving closer to him.
“How de fuck do you know my name?”
Lawson asked moving back.
“Hmm.. is a surprise”
“Fuck you!” As Lawson wanted to bring out another gun, a black blood rushed out from
the hunter’s head, he fell and died-that was Ruth in action with the knife. Lawson
couldn’t believe it! He stared at his wife who was breathing heavily and glanced at the
dead hunter again. “Wow!” he exclaimed then Ruth threw the knife and hugged him.
“Nice move, baby” Lawson reciprocated.
“Come on, let me take you to Cassandra’s” he added and went out with her.
As Kelly was on his way to federal hospital with Nelikita, so as Hector and the hunter
were still on the race, running towards a lonely dark road. Unfortunately to Cassandra
and Jackson, that was the same road they took. Hector, caught the hunter thereby
making both to fall on the center of the road. Even Grace fell down looking dead. The
hunter rushed Hector and jacked him up then kicked him off to a far distance. He
went back to Grace and jacked her up too standing in the middle of the road. “I’m
more power, Hector!” he shouted.
Hector also stood in the middle of the road.
“Alright, you’ve won!” he said dusting out dirt.
“Don’t give up so fast, you idiot!”
“No, i give up, you moron!”
“I’m gonna make your life miserable”
“Agreed, but do me a favour. Put my girlfriend down!”
“Oh, now you want a fight, i see” the hunter threw Grace at a nearby bush. Just then, a
light from a car came behind him-those were Cassandra and Jackson..(TBC)
Emeka ran out of the bathroom naked when he discovered the deadly mark on his body.
“Chei…!!” he exclaimed bitterly. “So, is this how I’m going to die in another man’s
country? No! Never! I will show the so called love hunters that i’m from Nigeria. Chei..!” he
tied a red wrapper and took a stick with a red piece of cloth tied around it then went
outside. However, he didn’t know the book hunters were back. So he stretched the stick
upword and said, “Gods of our land! I have come oh. Don’t allow me to die in this
strange land. You did it for our forefathers,
do it for me too” he began to do some incantations dancing around in circle. When
he saw a hunter coming, he threw the stick and ran inside the house…
