Episode 19
A STORY WRITTEN BY BRIGHT DANIEL
“Noo!” Jackson shouted when he
couldn’t get hold of Amaya’s body thereby making him to fall on the floor. Geto
stood up sharply and removed his cap. He couldn’t believe his eyes. However,
Mrs Jonas opened her mouth widely staring at the spot Amaya disappeared then
screamed with a loud voice running to the spot but stumbled and fell.
Instantly, Geto rushed her to help her up.
“What happened to my niece?” Mrs Jonas cried as they staggered to the cushion.
On the other hand, Jackson laid on the floor shedding tears while Geto stood before him speechless.
“Is obvious the love hunters have taken her. Is okay, bro” he said.

Back to Cassandra’s old building, darkness had taken over. She sat all alone in front of the local house still lamenting, “Take your book mother, i don’t need it anymore!”
Just then, Daniel and Lawson arrived. Seeing her in such condition, Lawson brought out his gun. “Cassandra!” he shouted.
“Cassandra! Daniel also shouted running to her. “What are you doing here?” he held her across the shoulder then looked at the dark, lonely local building.
“Come on, Cassandra, we need to leave this place” Lawson said standing up and looking at every angle of the nearby bush.
“No, I’m going nowhere until she tells me how to break the curse and whose blood to use” Cassandra insisted.
“She? She who?” Daniel asked looking at Lawson.
“She’s talking about her late mother” Lawson replied.
Daniel looked at Cassandra again and said, “Honey, please, we have to go. Is already late. We will put hands together and figure out how to break the curse”
“Please..” Lawson added and helped to drag Cassandra up before they staggered to her car. But Cassandra couldn’t believe what she saw in the front seat of the car: the book. Then she looked at Daniel and Lawson suspiciously. “Who brought this book here?” she asked then Lawson looked at Daniel in a way that says: IT SEEMS LIKE SHE’S HAVING MENTAL PROBLEM. Of curse Cassandra understood the look but ignored them. She brought out the book walking briskly back to the local building. At the very sight of the two boys, she threw the book into the house again then began to go back. Daniel and Lawson were surprise! Cassandra went back to the car and found the book again in the front seat then she slid her hair backward in amazement looking at Daniel and Lawson.
“I guess the book doesn’t want to leave you” Lawson told her.
“Well, i want to leave the book!” Cassandra replied angrily and grabbed the book again going back to the building. She dug a hole and buried it. Surprisingly, she went back to the car and found the book again. “I’m gonna set you on fire this time around!” she wanted to take the book but Denial held her tightly.
“Leave me alone!”
“Cassandra, is okay, let’s go home!” Daniel said as he carried her to his car.
“No! I don’t wonna go home!” Cassandra struggled.
However, Lawson had entered Cassandra’s car with the book still in it. He drove it back while Daniel dragged Cassandra into his own car too then they drove out.

MRS JONA’S RESIDENT
Only Mrs Jonas was still in tears while Geto and Jackson remained moody. All sitted on the long cushion and occasionally looking at the door hoping to see Cassandra. Suddenly, Lawson, Daniel and Cassandra entered. All stared at each other.
“Who de fuck are you?!” Lawson asked Geto coz his face wasn’t familiar.
“His my friend, Geto and he got the deadly mark” Jackson stood up moving forward to Cassandra. “You have to help him! You know how to break the curse!”
“Who told you that?” Cassandra asked.
“My grandmother said so” Geto stood up. “She said a blood is needed to break the curse and you know whose blood to be used”
“What are you talking about and who is your grandmother?” Cassandra asked then looked around. “Wait, where is Amaya?”
Hearing that, Mrs Jonas tears increased.
“Mother, where is she?” Cassandra was still inquisitive.
“She has been taken by love hunters” Geto replied.
“She just disappeared” Jackson added.
“What?!” Daniel exclaimed. Then Cassandra became mad without knowing what to say or do. “No, no no..” she began to scratch her head moving randomly. With a great anger, she started breaking valuable things in the house. Seeing that, Daniel rushed her.
“Honey, calm down”
“Nooo!” Cassandra cried in a loud voice. “She’s just an innocent girl”
Meanwhile, Lawson became weak, so he kept his gun and removed his hat. Suddenly, Cassandra forcefully disengaged herself from Daniel and dragged Geto towards the door holding him tightly on the trouser.
“Hey, what are you doing? Is not my fault!” Geto shouted.
“Shut up and take me to your grandmother!” Cassandra commanded. She put him in front of her car, slammed the door and drove out.
“Oh boy! This is so sad” Lawson exclaimed silently rubbing his hands on his head without hair.

As Cassandra sped to the resident of Geto’s grandmother, so as Emylight was about to experience the deadly mark…
