Episode 13
A STORY WRITTEN BY BRIGHT DANIEL
Amaya screamed in a loud voice
holding Mrs Jonas tightly. The hunter wore a dirty brown longsleeve shirt that
torn at several parts. His face looks scared; one could see his canine openly
and molars scatter at different angles in his mouth. There was no inscisors. He
roared like a hungry lion after he jumped down from the roof and Grace opened a
fire followed by Lawson while Cassandra quickly took the book. As the gunshot
continued without the hunter dead, Nelikita stretched her fingers and hung him
up in the air. At that point, Lawson aimed his head and shot him, then he died
instantly. Nelikita brought him down.
“This is what I’m talking about!!” Grace shouted. “The war has just begun!” immediately, Lawson went to his car, he brought out a roll of gun. Ruth became surprise looking at him in a way that explains: WHERE DID HE GET ALL THESE GUNS FROM? Lawson began to throw guns to Daniel, Kelly and Nelly. He brought out the last one then glanced at his wife who stood closely with Mrs Jonas in fear. He moved forward to her and said, “Take this, baby” but Ruth shook her head negative. “Come on baby, you can do it!”
“No!” Ruth shouted and began to cry. Lawson became disappointed so he glanced at Amaya and stretched the gun to her. “Protect my wife and protect yourself” he said. Amaya fearfully took the gun vibrating in fear.
Meanwhile, Cassandra had put the book back to it’s box and locked it. She placed it on the centre table then handled her own gun. All looked at each other.
“Now, lets go hunt the hunters” Cassandra said then Hector smiled. “Nelly, you gat to stay behind and protect the book” she added then Nelly nodded her head.
As all moved towards the door ready to go, suddenly, the lying hunter who they believed was dead groaned trying to stand up again but Amaya shot him three bullets which killed him permanently. They all looked back in surprise.
“Nice shot, girl!” Lawson exclaimed.
“Mehn, I’m loving this girl the more. I love you baby!” Hector said smiling at Amaya.
“Shut up!” Grace shouted at him.
“Oh, sorry, my bad” He apologise then Amaya smile. “Lets go” he added then they opened the door.

All were standing outside. They couldn’t believe what they saw: though it was daytime but the atmosphere clouded thereby bringing darkness and a strong wind. They could see hunters pursuing and killing people.
“Hector, go now!” Cassandra commanded before he sped off. Daniel followed Grace in her car while Kelly followed Cassandra.

Kali city became what one cannot write home about. People were running hecter and skelter. Those who were strong fought bravely while the weak ones remained indoor or ran for their dear lives.
Jesse, who was at home began to run downstairs when she heard the news and also saw how the hunters were destroying the city. She wore a trouser and a black tight longsleeve shirt. She had the hope of seeing Geto and eventually safe him because she believed he was in trouble. So she commanded two guards to follow and take her out, back to the swimming pool probably.
“Ma’am, you are instructed to remain indoors” one of the guards said in a deep voice holding a heavy gun.
“Fuck you, your mates are out there saving lives and you here talking rubbish!” Jesse clutched the door knob. She opened it and locked it immediately to prevent the guards from stopping her. Before they could shot the door open, Jesse had already took off with a car but they followed her with another car….

Jackson and Geto watched everything from the window of their local apartment.
“What’s going on?!” Geto asked. “Who are these dead looking people pursuing everybody around? Are they the love hunters?”
“No, book hunters i think” Jackson replied. Before he could turn, he saw Geto running outside. “Hey! Where are you going to?!”
“I have to save my grandmother!” Geto replied running as fast as his legs can carry him. Jackson ran out too but was stopped by a hunter who stood before him. “What a heck do you want from me?!” he shouted looking at the scary hunter. He had no shirt on.
“Where is the book?!” the hunter asked moving forward while Jackson backward, but he suddenly stumbled and fell. So the hunter grabbed him on the throat and jacked him up in a way his legs left the ground.
“Get your hands off me!” Jackson shouted but the hunter began to strangle him to death. Suddenly, Jackson vanished from his hands-that was hector in a high speed. The hunter became confused.

Nelikita walked to and fro the sittingroom while Amaya, Ruth and Mrs Jonas were sitting quietly on the cushion. Suddenly, hector arrived with Jackson and Amaya stood up instantly pointing a gun at them thinking it was a hunter.
“Woh woh woh! Easy girl, is me” Hector said then brought down Jackson. “Stay here!” he instructed and sped off again immediately. As Jackson turned properly to look at Amaya so as Amaya hands were going down. They stared at each other.
“Jackson?” Amaya called…
