Episode 21
A STORY WRITTEN BY BRIGHT DANIEL
Hector picked the call without even checking the caller. “Heelloo..” he groaned.
“Hector, come over now!” Cassandra commanded on the phone.
Hearing that, Hector was forced to checked the caller. “Calm down baby. What’s it?” he asked.
“Amaya is gone”
“Hey, slow down” Hector stood up. “Gone to where?”
“I don’t know but the love hunters took her” Cassandra hung up the call.
Hector quickly tried to pick up his shirt but found himself staggered to the wall. “Fuck!” he exclaimed. He managed to pick his cloth then went to the sittingroom just to see his sister, Nelikita lying on the cushion. He stared at her for sometimes then sped off. But he hit his body on a glass window and fell, thereby sustaining injuries. Nelly woke up.
“Hector!” she rushed him on the floor. “What have you done to yourself?!”
Hector slowly stood up and staggered around.
“You don’t have to go out or use your powers. You are still drunk” Nelly told him.
“What do you care?” Hector asked moving towards the door.
“I’m sorry, Hector. You are still my brother no matter what, and i love you”
Hector looked back at her without replying then sped off again. On his way, he hit several houses and moving vehicles sustaining more injuries until he finally found his way to Cassandra’s resident. He slowly opened the door with his face down. One could see his shirt stained with blood and bruces on his faces. However, Lawson, Daniel, Mrs Jonas and Jackson were still in the sittingroom when he entered.
“Hector, are you okay?” Daniel rushed him.
“I’m fine, I’m fine” he replied pushing Daniel away. “I can take care of myself” he added looking around. “Where is Cassandra?”
Just then, Cassandra entered and was also surprise to see Hector stained with blood. “Hector?” she called.
“Yes, where de heck have you been? I have been waiting for you over an hour now” Hector said.
“You are just coming now” Lawson spoke up.
“Oh, really? Okay”
“What’s wrong with him?” Cassandra asked.
“I think he’s drunk” Daniel replied.
“Drunk?”
“I’m not drunk. I’m fine!” Hector interfered. Cassandra neglected him then looked at the book which was on the centre table. She quietly picked it as all watched her then opened it. Instantly, she began to see spiritually…

The book hunters came back for the second time that night. They were mean, powerful and more deadly than before. They wanted the book by all means.
Nelikita quickly dressed up to go out, probably to meet Grace. She was on a phone call with Kelly as she moved towards the door. Immediately she opened it, two hunters jumped on her holding her two hands tightly so as not to use her powers. The phone fell off.

“Hello, hello, baby are you there?” Kelly was still asking on the phone but there was no response. When he heard strange voices, he hung up the call and rushed out.

Nelikita fell on the floor struggling with the two hunters and flinging her two legs up and down thereby exposing her white underwear.
“Where is the book?” one of the hunters asked strangling her to death. When Nelly refused to answer, he pulled her up and flung her head hardly to the wall. Nelikita fell on the floor without showing any sign of a living thing again. As the two hunters lingered, Kelly came in and began to shoot them but they ran away.
“Nelly!” Kelly shouted running to meet her on the floor. “Nelly, are you okay? Wake up!” he touched her cheek but there was no response. “Demn it!” he exclaimed and carried her to his car..

A hunter bagged into Grace’s house while she was asleep. She wore a milky night gown lying face-up. One could see her underwears through the transparent gown. Grace opened her eyes when she heard a cracking noise. Before she could reached her gun, a hunter jumped onto her through the window and gave her a powerful punch then sped off with her.

Back to the resident of Mrs Jonas, Cassandra had come back to reality with the book closed. “I think i know where to break the curse” she said.
“Where? And how are you gonna do that?” Lawson asked.
“With the blood of the hunters”
“Book hunters?”
“No, love hunters” Cassandra began to move boldly towards the door with the book.
“I’m following you!” Jackson interrupted. Just then, they heard a shout of people outside. All ran out just to see hunters everywhere then the alcohol disappeared from Hector’s eyes.
“Ruth” Lawson said and entered his car immediately to go and protect his wife.
“Daniel, stay with my mother!” Cassandra ordered and also jumped into her car with the book. She was surprise to see Jackson also inside the car. “What are you doing?!”
“I’m following you!” Jackson replied.
“No, where I’m going is very deadly!”
“I don’t care! I want to save Amaya!”
“Shit!” Cassandra drove off when she saw a hunter coming to attack them.
Hector sped off to an open place just to see a hunter on top of a building with Grace.
“Help me!” Grace screamed flinging her legs from the top of 7 storey building.
“Grace?” Hector called..
