Episode 11
A STORY WRITTEN BY BRIGHT DANIEL
Emeka, popularly known as Emylight,
the Nigerians guy stood behind the door breathing heavily. His girlfriend
became worried as she stood outside. She wore a black skirt and white top. She
had a long natural hair which she slid backward and smiled bitterly. “Emy!”
Serah, the girl called but there was no response. “Emylight!” she called again
yet no response. “My love!” she added before Emeka responded saying, “Oh, what
have i put myself into?”
“What are you talking about?” Sarah asked.
“Go home nah!”
“I want to see you! Open the door”
“Cheeii” Emeka came out immediately without letting Serah in. He adjusted his falling trouser upward again and began to look at Sarah’s whole body. He turned her around wanting to raise her top up.
“What is it?” Serah asked
“I want to see if you have the mark oh”
“What mark?”
“Shuu, are you still asking? The deadly mark! Mark of the love hunters. You know if you have the mark you will die. And me i dont want to die. Very soon i might even disappear..”
“My love, are you denying my love for you because of the love hunters?”
“Why not if not! Bia, is like you don’t like your life oh”
“But i love you”
“Lo.. Hia..” he dragged his trouser up as he entered into the house again and locked the door.
“Emy! Emylight!” Serah called. When she didn’t get a reply, she went back home. It also touched Emeka as he sat behind the door with his hands on his head because he loves Serah very well.

Cassandra knocked at the door of Isabella but the mother opened it with tears in her eyes. Without exchanging greetings, Cassandra slowly entered and found Isabella shedding tears too on the cushion while the television was on broadcasting the news of the deadly mark. She was touched. She slowing move closed to her to raise her dress up. “May i?” she requested but Isabella kept quiet. Cassandra saw the mark which has the shape of a dragon.
“Am i going to die?” Isabella asked in tears.
“No my dear” Cassandra held her. “Be strong and don’t give up easily. You will not die” she encouraged her but deep down inside her, she knew that Isabella will die if nothing is done urgently. She doesn’t like giving people the impression that they will die. “Don’t hesitate to call me if you need help” she added and walked towards the door.
“Have you seen Francisco?” Isabella interrupted her. Then Cassandra turned. “I will” she replied.

It is a lonely place, a bit far from the city. One could see a small building surrounded by bushes. Though it was daytime but inside the building was darkness. One could see human skeleton on the floor. Inside the building was a scary looking man. The flesh in his body could be termed decomposed and teeth scattered in his mouth. He stood before an empty wall which has the shape of a dragon. “I have given you what you want. What else do you want my lord?” he said making his voice echo three times in the building. “The stone is now yours” he added.
“Yes, you have one more quest to embark on” a deep scary voice came out from the wall.
“What quest my lord?”
“Bring-me-the-book”
“The book? Why my lord”
“How dare you ask me questions?!” the Voice said. And immediately the dead scary looking man fell on the floor holding his throat and stretching his legs to death. Within a twinkle of an eye he died. “No one ask me question. Hohohoho” the voice laughed in a deep vibrating voice. Instantly, more than one hundred dead looking men came out from nowhere. Their fingernails were long. They had brown hair scattered and long too.
“Now, go get the book from the little witch” the voice commanded and they moved out.

Cassandra drove home just to see the following people inside the building; Ruth, who stood beside her husband, Lawson with a pregnant stomach, Hector, standing close the to his sister, Nelikita, Amaya, holding Mrs Jonas, Daniel and Kelly were standing seperatly. Only Grace wasn’t there. Cassandra locked the door and stared at all of them quietly. Without saying anything, she entered her room, brought out the book and placed it on the centre table. Yet, nobody said a word.
“Where is Grace?” Cassandra broke the silence.
“On her way, i called her” Hector replied.

Grace is the only daughter of Mrs Vicker. Her appearance is like that of a black witch but beautiful. She hardly smile and can be mean and aggressive. She doesn’t tolerant nonsense from anybody. As she was driving to Cassandra’s on a lonely road, a scary deadly looking man attack her thereby driving into a bush. The man held her throat and said, “Where is the book?” as Grace struggle to reach her gun, she kicked the man’s dick who left her instantly. She finally took the gun and began to shoot him but he ran away. “I think Kali city have two hunters this time around: LOVE HUNTERS AND BOOK HUNTERS” She thought. “I have to tell Cassandra” she concluded and kept driving…
